The Zoo originated as the yellow character in the trio, consisting of Bird Man (red) and Fish Man (blue). His costume still has the elephant, “zoo” in Japanese, on the chest, just like the other two have a bird and a fish. Unlike Bird Man and Fish Man, who had agile, quick movements, The Zoo was burdened by his lumbering physique. His enormous trunk, which should have been prized as a unique and magnificent weapon, was left dangling fight after fight. Dismayed by his inability to keep up with his partners, he quit. Today, he can be found fighting for Red Goblin. He continues to cheer Bird Man’s success.
